Responsibilities- Knowledge of the procedures performed and anticipates the surgeon's needs, including providing instruments, sutures and supplies
- Contribute to the patient's safety by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
- Experience scrubbing into a variety of specialties preferred
- Knowledge of regulatory agencies and practice (e.g., Nurse Practice Act, Infection Control, OSHA, DOH)
- Successful completion from an accredited school or college course for Surgical Technologist required
- Certification from the Surgical Technology Exam or eligibility to sit for the exam
- BLS/AED training
USD $47.85 - USD $47.85 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
