The Physical Therapist is responsible for delivering direct care to patients and utilizing physical agents as prescribed by a referring physician.

• Evaluates patient and creates treatment plan.
• Employee is able to provide verbal and written educational material to patients when appropriate.
• Recognizes the need for involvement of other disciplines.
• Creates a recommended discharge plan.
• Performs and records daily clinical notes.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Completes department mandatory in‑service/training/competency within specified time frame.
• Participates in education of staff and students within the medical center.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy or Master’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy. Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Licensed and registered PT in the State of New York.
• BLS required.

USD $44.41 – $55.55 per hour.

The pay for this position ranges from $39.00 – $50.00 per hour. This range serves as a good‑faith estimate; actual pay will encompass a number of factors including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and does not include the value of benefits.
