The Patient Registration Representative will be the liaison between patients and the hospital for their upcoming elective procedures. The representative will help answer any questions and concerns patients may have regarding their visit to Good Samaritan Hospital and pre‑surgical testing.
Responsibilities- Obtaining and verifying demographics and insurance for elective procedures.
- Appointment scheduling of patients in Cadence.
- Maintaining endoscopy/colonoscopy schedules and creating cases in Optesia.
- Maintaining pain management schedules when needed.
- Registration of patients for pre‑surgical testing.
- Cash posting.
- Scanning.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Typing skills 40–60 wpm.
- Alpha‑numeric 5000 keystrokes per hour required.
Starting from USD $22.00/hr the range serves as a good‑faith estimate; actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range does not include bonuses, differential pay or other compensation, nor benefits.
