The Unit Clerk, under the direction of the NM/ANM, coordinates and performs the duties necessary to manage and organize the nursing unit, including reception and secretarial duties, and ensures accurate communication among the healthcare team.
Responsibilities- Maintaining regulatory standards involving the medical record
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the NM/ANM
- Complete competencies needed to perform duties in a specific clinical setting
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Strong computer skills; ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute (or 5,000 keystrokes per hour)
- Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology
USD $21.81 - $32.72 per hour. This range reflects expectations for candidates’ qualifications, experience, and competencies. Compensation may include bonuses, differential pay, or benefits not listed.
