Join a Magnet-recognized Nursing team at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip as we expand into a new era of patient care with the upcoming opening of our state-of-the-art Patient Care Pavilion-a 300,000 sq. ft. facility featuring private rooms, advanced surgical suites, and a transformative Emergency Department.
We are actively hiring Nursing Assistants to support our Emergency and Med-Surg units who are ready to grow with us-and be part of something big.

Requirements:
* Completion of Nursing Assistant program, BOCES or Military Hospital Corps School or equivalent with current New York State CNA certification or completion of a Nursing fundamentals course or equivalent within a RN program or a minimum of 1 year experience working as a Nursing Assistant.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Knowledge of safety and infection control practices.
* Knowledge of computer systems and/or prior clerical experience required.
* BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association. No online programs from any organization will be accepted.
Salary Range
USD $25.62 - USD $32.32 /Hr.
This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
