The Nurse Navigator for Interventional Cardiology serves as a key clinical and operational resource, ensuring safe, efficient, and coordinated care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), interventional neurology, and non‑invasive cardiovascular procedures. This dynamic role may include documentation review for appropriate use, patient phone calls for pre‑ and post‑procedure interviews, facilitating patient flow, overseeing daily procedural and recovery area operations, and providing patient education and clinical support across the continuum of care.

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑procedure telephone assessments for cardiac catheterization, EP, and non‑invasive procedures.
• Monitor and coordinate the daily workflow of procedure rooms and recovery areas to optimize efficiency and patient safety.
• Coordinate add‑on or urgent procedures in collaboration with physicians, anesthesia, and scheduling staff.
• Evaluate patients for clinical needs or schedule changes and escape concerns appropriately to the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold departmental standards of excellence.
• Coordinate and cross‑train departmental work duties to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Perform other duties as directed by manager.

• Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited college or school of nursing.
• Will consider Associate’s Degree if enrolled in a BSN program.
• 2 years’ nursing experience required; prior experience in interventional cardiology, cath lab, or critical care preferred.
• Charge RN or leadership experience preferred.

USD $54.48 – $74.72 per hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate; actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, nor does it include the value of benefits.
