Position:
Nursing Assistant

- Assist nursing staff with patient care needs in Emergency and Med-Surg units
- Support safety, infection control, and quality of care along with charting and basic clerical duties as required
- Contribute to a collaborative team environment to ensure efficient unit operations
- Completion of Nursing Assistant program, BOCES or Military Hospital Corps School or equivalent with current New York State CNA certification, or completion of a Nursing fundamentals course or equivalent within an RN program, or a minimum of 1 year experience as a Nursing Assistant
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of safety and infection control practices
- Knowledge of computer systems and/or prior clerical experience
- BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association (no online programs accepted)
USD $25.62 - $32.32 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate; actual pay will reflect qualifications, skills, and experience. The salary range does not include bonuses/incentives or other forms of compensation that may apply.
