The Security Officer is responsible for patrolling the Hospital and the grounds. He monitors lighting, illegal parking and reviews conditions of the parking fields, curbing and sidewalks. He is regularly assigned to fixed posts in the Emergency Department, Main Lobby and Baxter Lobby. He also performs other related duties and tasks as may be assigned or required. He monitors visitors in the Hospital.

He also writes incident reports as required. He also ensures the safety of all staff, visitors and patients in the Hospital. He enforces all the security regulations. He is also part of the Hospital Emergency Management Response Team.

• High School Diploma, college degree preferred.
• NYS Security Guard License
• Clean NYS Driver's License
• CPR/BLS required

USD $25.00 - $29.00 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
