High School Teacher - Language Arts

We are seeking a High School Language Arts teacher for Jordan School District. This full‑time role requires a blend of virtual instruction using Canvas, Zoom, Google Suite, and other technologies, as well as periodic in‑person support at our South Jordan office. Teachers create curriculum aligned with Core standards and collaborate with students, parents, and staff.

• Deliver instruction and support in a virtual high school environment using Canvas, Zoom, Google Suite, and other technologies.
• Provide in‑person support at the South Jordan office as required and maintain a flexible schedule.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents via Zoom, phone, and email to increase engagement.
• Create and implement curriculum tied to Core standards.
• Participate in professional development and collaborate with colleagues to improve instruction.

• Utah Educator License with endorsements (Professional Educator License or Associate Educator License).
• Proof of AEL or enrollment in a teacher certification program at a local university.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate and engage students and parents using virtual tools.
• Experience creating curriculum aligned with core standards.

• Competitive salary: $16.00‑$20.00 per hour.
