We are seeking a compassionate and skilled behavior aide to join our school team. This role is vital in supporting students’ emotional regulation, social skills development, and academic progress. The candidate will provide direct support during behavior situations, reinforce positive behavior, and assist with academic monitoring for students in grades 4‑6.

• Front Line in Behavior Situations:
  Serve as the first responder for student behavior issues, de‑escalating situations and guiding students in emotional self‑regulation through individualized support and intervention.
• Recess School Support:
  Work with students assigned to recess school to teach and model our four key rules: be kind, be safe, be responsible, and be respectful. Implement engaging lesson plans and activities to foster positive social interactions.
• Academic Support:
  Assist in progress monitoring student reading in grades 4‑6, documenting growth and providing feedback to inform instructional decisions.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with teachers, counselors, and support staff to create and execute student‑centered plans addressing behavioral, social, and academic needs.
• Documentation:
  Maintain thorough records of student progress, behavioral incidents, and interventions, using data to guide practice.

Effective July 1, 2025.

• Lane 1 Step 1 – $17.53 per hour (Not Highly Qualified)
• Lane 2 Step 1 – $18.51 per hour (Associate's degree or 48 semester hours from an accredited college/university; or)
• Lane 3 Step 1 – $19.55 per hour (Current/Former Licensed Teacher)
