Assistant General Manager

This role involves leading hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager and assisting with team development to consistently exceed service standards.
Responsibilities- Train and guide staff, conduct performance reviews, and lead daily staff huddles.
- Manage financial tasks including posting checks in PMS, completing the weekly labor tracker, managing payment reports, and handling receipts.
- Ensure the hotel is “Guest Ready,” maintaining high standards of cleanliness and swiftly addressing guest concerns.
- Assign housekeeping tasks and assist the GM in inspecting rooms.
- Manage inventory, monitor property email, and build relationships with vendors and guests.
- Promote the property through local community networking, lead in‑house sales and marketing initiatives, and increase occupancy.
- Support housekeeping in daily laundering and public space duties as needed and cover employee shifts to maintain operational continuity.
- Follow and enforce property emergency procedures and security measures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Salary: $42,500 - $47,500 (dependent on experience)

- Minimum 1 year of hotel leadership experience, including front desk and back‑of‑house operations.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong team‑building abilities.
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proactive problem‑solving mindset.
- Tasks involving kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting, bending, and twisting for extended periods.
- Lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 20 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 50 lbs.
