Salary Range: $87,000 - $178,100 per annum (US)

As an Oracle Data Center Technician you will perform key roles to deliver core infrastructure and foundational technologies within the OCI data center environments. You will be responsible for repairs, installation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of data center hardware and networking infrastructure. You will improve current processes, introduce automation, and support the performance of all equipment you support.

• Hardware installation & decommission of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure.
• Troubleshooting and repair of data center hardware and networking infrastructure.
• Rack and stack of data center equipment, including servers, networking devices, monitoring systems, and other equipment.
• Rack installation: put racks in place, cable, power up, and handoff servers to internal provisioning teams.
• Monitoring of DC environments using monitoring tools.
• Respond to tickets in a shared ticketing environment used by Oracle Cloud service owners.
• Document activities and create or modify SOPs.
• Decommission life cycle of data center hardware.
• Inventory process: order replacement parts and return failed parts as required.
• Structured cabling, labeling, and troubleshooting of fiber/copper/telecom cables.
• System power supplies and cabling install, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Execute small projects independently and collaborate on larger local projects with your manager.
• Show professionalism in a 24/7/365 work environment with a rotating 4‑day, 10‑hour shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Maintain asset inventory and update internal applications as needed.
• Provide on‑site emergency response via cell phone when required.
• Participate in training aligned with corporate objectives.
• Act within Service Level Agreements (SLA) on assigned tickets.

• 3+ years working in a Data Center environment.
• Troubleshooting experience on servers, networking devices, and IT equipment.
• Inventory management experience (ordering, receiving, shipping parts).
• Ability to prioritize work based on business needs and urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with on‑call shifts and responding to critical events.
• Experience escalating issues to senior staff and management.
• Training and developing team members.
• Developing documentation and solutions for technical issues.
• Managing workload for a medium to large size team of Data Center Technicians.
• Knowledge of IT Hardware concepts: RAID, SAN, X86 Architecture, SCIS, Linux/Unix, Boot Process, GRUB/LILO, File Systems, Network Device configuration, Directory Structure.

US Hiring Range: $87,000 - $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
