Responsible for providing direction to Forklift Operators, training, assigning work, and resolving problems within area of responsibility. Operates gasoline, liquefied gas, or electric‑powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, and materials from rail cars in a distribution center or storage yard.
Responsibilities- Supports and trains newly hired forklift operators within their area of responsibility.
- Assists supervisors and management in planning, assigning, and directing work.
- Loads, unloads, moves, stocks, and stages products and materials using powered industrial equipment; maintains equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion. Inspects assigned equipment daily and operates all equipment safely in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations; efficiently stacks and stores product in the appropriate areas.
- Pulls and prepares products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products; moves product into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
- Ensures inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage; reports quality variances.
- Inventories materials on the work floor and supplies workers with materials as needed.
- Follows customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and safe loading/unloading.
- Coordinates with all other departments/functions, especially Customer Service, Transportation, and Maintenance.
- Performs good housekeeping practices and cleans as you go.
- Operates and reports unsafe conditions and enforces safety rules.
- Follows corporate and site‑specific Good Manufacturing Practices and reports noncompliance when observed.
- Observes all company safety rules and assists in enforcement as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (Weekend 1st shift)
Salary$25.00 per hour

- High School Diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- A‑level to 2 years of study in higher education or equivalent through experience.
- Training in transportation, logistics, and management.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a team leadership function.
