- Facilitate, communicate, and collaborate with both the healthcare team and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
- Promote optimal health, well‑being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act.
- Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship‑based care, organizational mission, and core values.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing required;
Nursing Diploma or equivalent endorsement. - Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs.
- One year of experience preferred.
- Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty.
- RN license required; current state nursing license or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact.
- Medium work – exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, up to 10 lbs constantly.
The Emergency Department at Holy Cross Hospital – Jordan Valley has 28 beds and sees approximately 60-80 patients per day. It is a Level III trauma, stroke, and STEMI receiving center capable of performing thrombectomies in collaboration with our cath lab. We care for patients of all ages, from infant to elderly, with all types of injuries and complaints. The mission is to provide excellent and compassionate emergency care to those in our community that trust us.
The ED team prioritizes teamwork and helps one another to ensure our patients feel our compassion and are satisfied with their care.
$32.01 – $48.43 per hour
