Job Summary
Farm Worker/Laborer (Temporary) at Bio Grass Sod Farms, Inc.
Work TermMarch 01 2026 – November 15 2026. Nine (9) full‑time, seasonal, temporary Farm Workers/Laborers needed.
Work Hours & LocationLocation:
West Jordan, Utah.
Work hours:
40 hrs/week, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 am – 4:00 pm. Wage: $10.64 per hour.
- Lifting and carrying 50 lb on a regular basis.
- Planting seed, mowing, and watering sod.
- Harvesting sod and stacking by pattern on pallets.
- Maintaining cleanliness of property, housing, and farm buildings.
- Operating reliably and dependably, working in hot, dry, and inclement weather.
- Physically capable of lifting 50 lb.
- Past crop‑harvesting experience within the last twelve (12) months (two references required).
- Willingness to perform tasks efficiently without close supervision.
- Ability to work on a sustained, vigorous pace on feet in bent positions for long periods.
- Provide employment‑eligibility documentation (I9 verification) upon hire.
The employer will provide all tools, supplies, and equipment at no charge. A deduction of –$1.82 will apply for employer‑provided housing. Workers must be available for the entire work period and may receive Workers’ Compensation coverage or private insurance equal to the applicable laws for similar employment.
Workers who are not immediately terminated without cause will receive transportation and subsistence reimbursement as described under the H‑2A program. The wage offered equals or exceeds the prevailing wage (AWER) issued by the Department of Labor for the period of work.
