Job Duties
  • Setting Appointments: 6‑8 hours per week – reach out to potential clients who have previously requested coverage and schedule a time to discuss mortgage protection coverage.
  • Research: 4‑5 hours per week – dig into the client’s information to customize options for their financial needs in the event of death or disability.
  • Meeting with Families: 2 days per week – meet with clients virtually or in‑person to present options, discuss details, and help them apply for coverage.
  • Administrative: 2 hours per week – follow up with insurance carriers to facilitate client applications through underwriting.
Qualifications

We are looking for coachable, challenge‑seeking, self‑disciplined individuals with a growth mindset. Skill set isn’t everything for this position.

Compensation

This is a commission‑only based sales position. The average commission on a mortgage protection product is approximately $600 per family. We expect a full‑time agent to sell 5 to 10 mortgage protection plans per week. In addition to mortgage protection, we also sell premium financial products (e.g., 401(k), IRA) to help people protect their retirement assets. You receive uncapped commission, a competitive bonus structure, and incentive trips based on individual and team results.
