Job SummaryPerforms preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance on District facilities, equipment, pipelines, and related infrastructure. Assists with the installation, design, and troubleshooting of water supply, treatment, and distribution/transmission systems. Responds to maintenance emergencies during regular hours and while on call during after‑hours shifts. May lead crews and oversee projects, ensuring safe working conditions for staff and the public, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Collects and enters data into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
This is a full‑time position (40 hours per week). The standard schedule is either Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., as assigned. The position also participates in a paid, one‑week, 24‑hour emergency stand‑by rotation.
Salary Information- Level I – Grade F: $22.33–$27.72 per hour
- Level II – Grade G: $23.43–$30.37 per hour
- Level III – Grade H: $23.41–$32.78 per hour
- Level IV – Grade I: $24.75–$35.88 per hour
