This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in West Kilbride. The Sous Chef will assist in the day-to-day culinary operations, including preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, overseeing kitchen staff, ensuring food safety and sanitation standards are met, and maintaining inventory levels. Additionally, the Sous Chef will collaborate with the Head Chef to develop new menu items, train junior staff, and ensure a seamless kitchen operation to provide an excellent dining experience for our guests.
We are not taking sponsorship for chefs.
Qualifications- Experience in culinary techniques, food preparation, and cooking methods
- Leadership and management skills to effectively supervise kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation, and inventory management
- Creativity and innovation in developing new menu items and dishes
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a hotel or large restaurant setting
