To all undergraduate students seeking research opportunities abroad, do you want to experience cutting‑edge research in one of the renowned research institutions in the United States through a fully funded summer fellowship program? Purdue University has recently announced its flagship Purdue University Research Fellowship 2026 and is seeking applications from high‑achieving students passionate about advancing their research careers in science, technology, and engineering from around the world to apply and experience cutting‑edge research in a world‑class research environment under the supervision of renowned experts.

It’s an 11‑week short‑term immersive research program hosted by Purdue University that offers outstanding undergraduate students an exceptional opportunity to conduct research at either Purdue University, West Lafayette, or the Indianapolis campus in the United States. Beyond research, the fellows will also participate in intensive weekly professional development workshops, seminars exclusively designed to polish students’ technical and communication skills
. The fellows will receive generous support to attend the program. The coverage includes Housing Subsidy, Travel Assistance, a competitive stipend, and much more.

The fellowship will conclude with a SURF symposium, where the participants will share their findings. The In‑person program period for the fellowship is June 1, 2026 – August 7, 2026. The program does not require any application fee; the application process for the Purdue fellowship is online, and the last date for the application submission is January 15th, 2026.

Purdue University is inviting applications from applicants meeting the following criteria:

• Accepting applications from both Domestic & International students
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in the US or an international institution
• Funding preferences are given to students participating first time
• Students must have completed one academic semester of their degree
• Possess a minimum CGPA of 2.8/4.0 at the time of application
• Willling to participate in the entire program during the program dates

• A competitive stipend of $6500 paid bi‑weekly
• Housing subsidy of $2500
• Travel Subsidy up to $1000
