IT Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in their industry, is seeking an IT Specialist to join their team. As an IT Specialist, you will be part of the IT support department supporting the entire organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Specialist

Location: Lafayette, Indiana

What's the Job?

• Provide daily help desk support, including ticket routing and user account management (domain, D365, email, security roles)
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for printers, laptops, and desktops
• Perform physical tasks such as hardware replacement and assisting with equipment moves that cannot be handled remotely
• Monitor backups and help desk tickets during off-hours for critical issues
• Support IT projects such as print queue relocation, Microsoft Intune implementation, and server room cleanup

What's Needed?

• Experience with help desk support and troubleshooting hardware/software issues
• Knowledge of user account management across various platforms
• Ability to perform physical hardware tasks and equipment moves
• Familiarity with backup monitoring and tape archiving processes
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
