Position:
Restaurant Assistant Manager.

Purpose:

Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operations and supervise the team in their absence, ensuring guests leave satisfied.

Responsibilities
  • Provides excellent guest service in a fast and friendly manner; coaches and corrects team.
  • Conducts second interviews for team members and shift leads.
  • Maintains a clean restaurant environment by cleaning and performing general housekeeping duties, assigning shift duties to team members and following up to ensure completion.
  • Directs team and ensures all food items are prepared and served in accordance with all Brand, Company, and health department regulations; coaches team members to follow guidelines for food preparation and production management.
  • Cascades relevant information to team members and assists with new product training.
  • Responsible for placing campaign materials upon request.
  • Ensures product quality, food safety, and operational standards are met.
  • Monitors and ensures accuracy of all cash, sales, and inventory control records for the duration of the shift; completes end‑of‑shift paperwork, counts as required, and communicates discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
  • In absence of the RM, completes daily, weekly, and end of period paperwork, inventory counts, cash counts, truck orders, and other administrative duties as required.
  • Guarantees a safe environment for team members and guests by following all government laws and safety codes.
  • Completes reports on all incidents following the 5‑minute rule policy.
  • Partners with the RM and takes ownership to ensure all financial and operational metrics are met, resulting in a profitable restaurant.

Qualifications
  • Full time required, availability during all hours of operation and at least one hour pre‑opening and post‑closing.
  • Valid state Driver’s License required.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Reaches, grasps, and manipulates objects with hands for entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead.
  • Pushes, pulls, lifts, and carries up to 10 lbs. frequently and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead.
