Youth Soccer Instructors Needed for Children Ages 2-8:
West Lafayette/Lafayette. Full-time and Part-time positions available.

Soccer Shots is an engaging intro-to-soccer program fueled by coaches who are driven to impact children’s lives in a positive way. Our program focuses on age-appropriate soccer skills, character development, and fun in every session.

Working with children is a serious responsibility – we need coaches who enjoy and are passionate about it. While soccer skills help, what truly separates us is our impact on children: giving them confidence to succeed on and off the field.

We aim for our 30‑minute sessions to be the BEST 30 minutes of each child’s week.

• Responsible – Arrives on time, can handle a group of 10 or more children, keeps accurate attendance, and communicates well with our director of coaching.
• Professional – Friendly and courteous with daycare center staff, directors, and parents; self-assured.
• Enthusiastic – Enjoys interacting with young children (2–8 years old), connects with them at their level, and is very outgoing and animated.
• Soccer knowledge – Helpful but not required; familiarity with the game is enough if combined with a love of children.
• Experience with children – Must be able to engage and interact with 2–8 year olds.
• Transport – Owns reliable transportation.
• Equipment – Owns and has daily access to a computer, printer, and internet.

• Paid comprehensive training program to master our curriculum, developmentally appropriate techniques, and best practices.
• Flexibility – We schedule you when you’re available, at locations closest to you, and can change availability by season.

• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2–8 years old, including field set‑up and take‑down.
• Encourage character development through positive reinforcement and modeling.
• Utilize our expert‑created curriculum and early childhood development techniques in each session.
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• Follow all on‑site safety and attendance protocols.
• Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and teachers.

• No prior sports or coaching experience required.
• Genuine passion for children and sports.
• Energetic, engaging, and responsible.
• Safety conscious.
• Adaptable to the needs of kids ages 2–8.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills.
• Coaches must have or obtain required state clearances.
