An established specialist roofing contractor is looking for an experienced Roofing Estimator to join the business on a permanent basis.
The company delivers specialist roofing and waterproofing packages across London and the South East, working on commercial, industrial, residential and public-sector projects, including technically demanding data centre and mission-critical schemes.
This role would suit a Roofing Estimator looking to join a specialist contractor with a broad range of roofing systems, strong industry accreditations and involvement in substantial projects for Tier 1 main contractors.
Salary and Package

The business is a specialist roofing contractor delivering high-performance roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout London and the South East. Its work covers commercial, industrial and public-sector developments, with experience delivering both new-build and refurbishment schemes.
Their roofing capability includes built-up felt, single-ply, green and blue roofing, leadwork, slating and tiling, alongside specialist roofing packages for data centres and mission-critical projects.
The company works with Tier 1 main contractors and is an approved installer for major roofing manufacturers including Bauder, IKO, Moy Materials and Sika. Its wider project portfolio includes data centres, healthcare facilities, residential developments and public buildings. The business also holds Construction line Gold, CHAS and NFRC accreditation.

About the Role
As Roofing Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing roofing opportunities and producing accurate, commercially considered estimates and tender submissions.
Key responsibilities will centre around:
* Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender information
* Producing accurate estimates for roofing and waterproofing packages
* Carrying out take-offs and assessing labour and material requirements
* Obtaining and reviewing supplier and subcontractor pricing where required
* Preparing quotations and tender submissions
* Working with the wider team to ensure successfully secured projects are handed over effectively
Candidate Background
The position is likely to suit someone already estimating within the roofing industry who understands the practical and commercial considerations involved in pricing roofing packages.
You should ideally have:
* Previous estimating experience within roofing or a closely related specialist subcontracting environment
* Good knowledge of roofing systems and construction methods
* Experience reading drawings, specifications and tender documentation
* The ability to produce accurate and commercially sensible estimates
* A practical understanding of materials, labour requirements and project costs
Experience across flat roofing, single-ply, built-up felt, green roofs, pitched roofing or associated waterproofing systems would be particularly relevant.
