• Provide excellent customer service, offering support and guidance.
• Stock shelves, process payments and maintain the store’s appearance.
• Play a key role in day‑to‑day operations, ensuring tasks are completed to meet customer needs.
• Implement training and safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
• Assist with seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
• Understand store performance and contribute to profit delivery.
• Follow company policies and record accurate time‑keeping for pay.
• Adhere to security procedures and wear safety equipment where required.
• Follow the Think 25 policy when serving age‑restricted products.
• Respond quickly to assistance calls or interventions on self‑checkout stations.
• Keep aisles clear and maintain a tidy, organised environment.
• Potentially run shifts in the absence of the Shift Leader or Store Manager.
• If the store has a Post Office Local, undertake the required post office financial and criminal‑conviction background check.
