They assess patients, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans, administer medications, and provide health education to patients and families. The role involves clinical leadership, collaboration with healthcare teams, and participation in quality improvement activities. The therapist supports lifelong learning and meets assigned goals to ensure quality patient care.
Qualifications & Skills- Current state license and RRT credential, with successful completion of licensing exams.
- Recent clinical experience in hospital, home care, or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Basic computer literacy with Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Certification in BLS within 14 days of hire; ACLS preferred.
- Hospital and departmental orientation completed successfully.
- Experience supporting life-long learning and clinical leadership.
