Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting‑edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll contribute to the development and integration of mechanical and electro/mechanical products for advanced APM platform vehicles and related maintenance vehicles, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) commitments. Day‑to‑day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Sourcing, Industrialization, and Manufacturing), manage digital mock‑ups and design reviews, and support continuous improvement initiatives—and much more.

We’ll look to you for:
  • Performing 3D modeling, design annotations, and 2D deliverables in compliance with QCD commitments and established processes
  • Modeling and storing allocated volumes and interfaces for sub‑systems, components, and compartments in Digital Mock‑Up
  • Conducting detailed design on internal subsystems
  • Verifying the consistency of the digital mock‑up (e.g., no clashes) and compliance with requirements such as allocated volumes, weight, and interfaces
  • Preparing and documenting Train Design (TD) Design Reviews and supporting Project Design Gates
  • Updating Digital Mock‑Up to incorporate approved Change Requests
  • Checking the quality of CADs and subcontractors' designs
  • Performing stack‑up analysis
  • Realizing and maintaining the Engineering Bill of Material
  • Planning and piloting TD Mechanical activities for assigned zones, ensuring deliverables adhere to customer and project requirements
All about you
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other related field
  • 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the transportation industry
  • Knowledge of 3D/2D CAD software, such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, or Catia V5
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with third parties (e.g., customers, sub‑contractors)
  • Time management and multitasking skills
  • Structured and organized with a hands‑on approach
  • Ability to analyze and implement change requests
  • Knowledge of digital mock‑up processes and tools
Things you’ll enjoy
  • Work with innovative 3D/2D CAD tools such as Solidworks, AutoCAD, and Catia V5 to design and integrate mechanical and electro/mechanical products for APM platform vehicles
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Progress towards becoming a key contributor to cutting‑edge transportation solutions while continuously improving your technical and leadership skills
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award‑winning learning

We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
