Edgewater Technical Associates is seeking qualified candidates for an Electrical Engineer opportunity in West Mifflin, PA.

Our company is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, which involves designing, producing, testing, and delivering advanced training simulators.

• Perform electrical drafting
• Collaborate with engineers to create or modify designs and drawings for PPTT equipment
• Review supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer
• US citizenship due to government contract requirements
• Active or recent DOE L or Q, or DOD Secret or Top Secret security clearance

• Proficiency in electrical engineering drafting
• Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques
• Experience reviewing electrical designs based on technical requirements
• Proficiency with Solid Works, Solid Works Electrical, or AutoCAD
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications systems
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
