• Ensure timely, friendly service and achieve unit objectives.
• Cultivate a culture that reflects Flynn Applebee’s core values.
• Respond to and correct all verbal guest complaints.
• Prioritize guest contact with required table visits.
• Maintain departmental inventory levels.
• Perform line checks to meet company standards.
• Schedule employees to meet sales demands.
• Implement effective safety and security programs.
• Promote and lead restaurant organization, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Perform routine maintenance and report needed repairs to the General Manager/Area Director.
• Recruit and reference potential team members and management candidates.
• Promote Flynn | Applebee’s training procedures for new managers.
• Maintain a trained staff through effective orientation, training sessions, employee meetings, and company policy.
• Participate in continuous employee development using One‑on‑One and performance documentation.
• Assess employee efficiency, provide fair feedback, and work on development areas.
• Document situations requiring disciplinary or corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, practices, and procedures.
• Control costs in the assigned department.
• Comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Drive bi‑weekly/weekly food and liquor inventories as requested.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily paperwork.
• Ensure sanitation standards meet or exceed Health Department and Flynn Applebee’s requirements.
• Serve as a role model for managers and employees.
• Develop proficiency in all store‑related technology.
• Adapt to all positions and assist in team member roles as needed.
• Use the Management Development Program to grow leadership skills continuously.

• At least 2–3 years of restaurant management experience.
• Serve Safe Food and Serve Safe Alcohol certifications are a plus.

• Work various shifts, including weekends.
• Stand and be mobile for up to ten (10) hours.
• Safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Read, write, and use small tools with finger and hand dexterity.
