Host / Server Assistant

Welcome to Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar! As a Host / Server Assistant, you will greet guests at the door, support servers in delivering top‑notch service, and keep the dining room running smoothly.

• Greet guests with a friendly welcome at the entrance.
• Assist servers in providing exceptional guest service.
• Maintain overall flow of guests and manage seating efficiently.
• Transport plates, glasses, baskets, and other items between the dining room, service bar, and kitchen.
• Carry out additional duties as directed in a courteous and timely manner.

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to creating a positive experience for all guests.
• Physical capability to remain stationary for up to four (4) hours and to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Clear speech and attentive listening skills.
• Willingness to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies, protective hand coverings, face coverings or masks, and to wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout the shift.
