DSP Direct Support Professional - 16 hrs

Regular Salary: $20.06 per hour Mon‑Fri and $21.06 per hour for shifts beginning 11 PM Friday to 11 PM Sunday. Non‑work time will be paid at the base rate.

We are looking for dedicated, caring and compassionate people to work in our Group Homes.
What’s the role of a Direct Support Professional/Residential Counselor (DSP)?- Residential Counselor is a direct care professional whose primary responsibility is to help meet the personal health, safety and welfare of the people living in the group home.
- You will assist and/or supervise individuals in personal care areas such as bathing/toileting; participate and/or supervise in cleaning, cooking and life skills.
- Administer and/or assist with medication administration.
- You must communicate effectively with supervisors, co‑workers and the individuals living in the homes.
- Drive residents to/from day programs, outside/within the community using agency vehicles.
- This position requires daily documentation of services provided.

- Experience with /DD population is a plus.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Valid (non‑provisional) driver’s license.
- Ability to meet physical requirements of CPR/First Aid and emergency evacuation procedures.
Shift: 16 hours per week
Saturday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm
All offers of employment are contingent on the successful completion of a criminal background/references/DMV check, fingerprinting, pre‑employment physical and drug test, etc.
All staff must attend a monthly staff meeting – date/time to be determined and announced in advance. Meeting waivers are provided for conflicts due to secondary employment or school with appropriate documentation.
