RN ICU Nights 7 PM to 7 AM

Glenwood Regional Medical Center – West Monroe, LA

The Intensive Care RN is responsible and accountable for directing, planning, and organizing the nursing activities on the ICU unit for an assigned night shift (7 PM to 7 AM) with focus on patient, physician, and staff needsòg the RN delivers skilled patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established policies and procedures; coordinates care among patients/family, physicians, nurses, ancillary services, and other team personnel;

acts as a patient advocate; and maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Louisiana nursing license in good standing with the Louisiana Nursing Board.
• Previous clinical nursing experience working in an ICU is desired.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Other certifications (ACLS, PALS) required within 90 days of hire.
