Now hiring for a Diesel Technician
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:00 PM

Education Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Brake certification required.
  • AC certification preferred; equivalent HVAC diagnostic and repair experience will be considered.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy-duty diesel vehicles.
  • Bus maintenance and repair experience preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and aftertreatment systems.
  • Experience performing brake repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
  • Tire service experience, including mounting, dismounting, and replacement, is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Must have a complete set of personal mechanic hand tools; specialty tools provided by the company.
Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly and heavier items with assistance.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and climbing throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work beneath vehicles, in confined spaces, and at varying heights.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for mechanical repairs and diagnostics.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, noise levels, and shop environments.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.
Job Duties
  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty diesel trucks, buses, and fleet vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, HVAC systems, brakes, and aftertreatment components.
  • Complete preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, fluid checks, inspections, and scheduled maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems and related components.
  • Inspect, service, and repair brake systems in accordance with certification standards.
  • Mount, dismount, inspect, and replace tires as needed.
  • Utilize diagnostic software, testing equipment, and repair tools to identify and correct vehicle issues.
  • Ensure all repairs meet company safety, quality, and performance standards.
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation and communicate vehicle status to management.
  • Support rapid turnaround times to return vehicles safely to service as quickly as possible.
