Base Pay Range$65.00/yr - $85.00/yr
My client is a dynamic and collaborative design firm that is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join its team and contribute to a variety of exciting architectural and interior design projects. As an Interior Designer, you will play an integral role in the planning, design, and development of complex interior design projects. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles, material application, and coordination with architectural and engineering teams.
The ideal candidate brings creative problem‑solving skills, advanced technical proficiency, and a collaborative mindset.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of complex interior design projects from concept through construction.
- Develop functional, aesthetically driven interior layouts, finishes, furniture, and material palettes.
- Produce schematic and construction drawings, details, renderings, and presentations.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams across all design phases.
- Support the Project Manager with client presentations, documentation, and design solutions.
- Manage multiple tasks and small projects while meeting schedule, budget, and quality standards.
- Prepare construction documentation and participate in jobsite visits and client meetings.
- Communicate effectively with clients, consultants, and vendors.
- Provide guidance to junior staff and contribute to documentation standards and process improvements.
- Support business development, client relationships, and a collaborative, people‑first studio culture.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 3+ years of professional experience or demonstrated ability to perform at an advanced level.
- Advanced knowledge of interior design principles and concepts.
- Experience designing interiors for residential, corporate office, commercial, and/or industrial environments.
- Working knowledge of International Building Codes and ANSI standards.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical, creative problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
