Position Summary:

The Early Childhood Department at the JCC Metro West in West Orange, NJ is opening a new infant room in January 2026 and is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Infant Teacher to staff the room. We have an impressive facility, supportive community, and a teamwork-oriented staff. This position is an opportunity to grow as an early childhood professional through on-going professional development and with supportive leadership.

Minimum Qualifications:

The ideal candidates will understand developmental milestones, be nurturing, patient, reliable and joyful. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and co-workers.

• Child Development Associate Certification Preferred
• Salaries are commensurate with credentials; range is $18 – $22 per hour.
