Position: Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Bierman Autism Centers

Overview

Bierman Autism Centers is seeking a full‑time, center‑based Speech‑Language Pathologist to support children diagnosed with autism. The role emphasizes one‑on‑one, natural play strategies to build foundational skills such as self‑advocacy and communication.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans for a caseload of clients at the assigned location.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans, maintaining a caseload of 35–40 sessions or 25 billable hours per week.
  • Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
  • Maintain client programming that is ethical, appropriately individualized, and delivered with integrity.
  • Update progress reports and properly document all activities according to professional and funder guidelines.
  • Keep current with professional literature, research, and best practices.
  • Drive coordination of care with ABA and Speech services and maintain relationships with parents of current clients.
  • Provide input and leadership in business direction and conduct clinical presentations to staff.
  • Attend clinical staff meetings, collaboration meetings with BCBAs, and promote Bierman Autism Centers within the community.
Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP).
  • State licensure.
  • Strong organization, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication with colleagues, direct reports, and caregivers.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
  • Detail oriented, flexible, and adaptable to meet team needs.
  • Professional integrity, knowledge of MacOS, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Central Reach.
  • Ability to maintain required licensure while employed.
