CADC Mental Health Specialist – $5k Sign‑on Bonus

Location: West Orange, NJ (Serving Essex County, NJ)
Salary: $56,000–$67,000 Sign‑on Bonus: $5,000

Work hours: Tuesday – Saturday 8:00 – 4:30 p.m. Full‑time 40 hrs per week

Department: Essex PACT 12

As part of a multidisciplinary core services team, the Co‑Occurring Specialist provides highly individualized services for enrollees with co‑occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders. Responsibilities include assessing history and current needs, collaborating with the person served and the team to develop integrated mental health and substance use treatment goals and interventions, and providing clinical leadership for PACT staff in the area of co‑occurring treatment.

This position is 70–80 % community based.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field
• Proof of CADC certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness
• Valid driver’s license with no more than one moving violation in the past 12 months; vehicle required
