Livingston, NJ, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship; time on-site or time zone may be necessary based on business need.

Position Summary

Our Funds area seeks an experienced Director of Client Management with at least 15 years of related experience to lead the North America Client Services teams under the Senior Executive Director and Head of Fund Services, North America. The role reports to the senior leadership team, drives outstanding client service delivery, meets revenue targets, and supports operational efficacy, staff resources, system implementations, and other BU goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee Client Service Directors to increase awareness of business opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Manage and achieve P&L goals for the North America Client Service team by making strategic decisions that meet or exceed revenue targets, manage costs, and enhance profitability.
  • Serve as escalation point for challenging client needs or operational limitations.
  • Drive business development with key clients to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Enhance relationships with existing clients and strengthen C‑suite connectivity to align with their business needs.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to increase company footprint among existing clients and identify new clients via targeted searches.
  • Assist in renewals, engagements, and negotiations with clients.
  • Manage career development and talent management of Client Service Directors.
  • Collaborate with North America leaders to execute shared department goals.
  • Partner with other business units to identify cross‑selling service opportunities.
  • Assist with the implementation of best practices (e.g., TOM integration) and drive operational efficiencies.
  • Lead and delegate key department projects.
  • Define staffing needs & resource allocation for client service teams, including deploying a global delivery model and routine office visits.
  • Empower team leaders to develop innovative thinkers, deliver superior client satisfaction, and promote staff engagement & development.
  • Ensure team scheduling and assignments support business needs and client director changes.
  • Stay informed of industry changes (e.g., regulations) and proactively solve services to meet client needs.
  • Develop & manage KPIs, client SLAs, and review deliverables as needed.
  • Present performance reports and metrics to MD Operations.
  • Perform internal responsibilities such as scheduling, status reports, and time tracking.
  • Other responsibilities as deemed necessary.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting.
  • Proven inspirational leader and manager of people, with experience developing effective teams, managing resources, and achieving aggressive goals in a fast‑paced environment.
  • At least ten years of industry experience with a track record of streamlining and improving service operations.
  • History of industry forecasting and successful budget management that increases operational efficiency.
  • Experience leading large teams and achieving high profitability goals.
  • Robust analytical, problem‑solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proactive and dynamic personality.
  • Experience with industry compliance is a plus.
  • Experience with Investor Services is a plus.
  • Creative, agile leader who motivates leaders to achieve lofty goals.
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more.

Compensation range: $170,000 – $210,000, depending on location and experience.
