Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant DON to oversee daily nursing operations.
Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure the highest standards of resident care.
Address staff concerns promptly and escalate when necessary.
Manage staffing and scheduling to optimize coverage and reduce agency reliance.
Conduct evaluations, provide coaching, and handle performance management.
Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture.
Contribute to quality assurance initiatives, budget planning, and internal committees.
Ensure accurate MDS documentation and coordinate discharge planning with residents and families.
