Acacia Care Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate RN Weekend Supervisor to oversee nursing operations and ensure the highest standards of resident care. This leadership role is ideal for a motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, supportive environment while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Director and Associate Director of Nursing in planning, developing, and directing day-to-day nursing functions in compliance with all regulations and facility policies.
- Supervise nursing staff, ensuring they adhere to responsibilities and deliver exceptional care.
- Participate in facility surveys and inspections as needed.
- Review and contribute to residents’ care plans and discharge plans.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained for each shift.
- Conduct daily rounds to monitor staff performance and report findings to leadership.
- Address staff concerns and escalates complaints or grievances appropriately.
- Welcome and support newly admitted residents, escorting them to their rooms as needed.
- Accompany physicians during rounds when necessary.
- Oversee medication administration and treatments for accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide direct nursing care when required.
- Conduct comprehensive resident assessments.
- Participate in performance evaluations for LPNs and CNAs.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support quality care and facility needs.
- Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
- Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of direct care experience in long-term care, restorative, or geriatric settings.
- At least 1 year of nursing management or supervisory experience.
- Current CPR certification.
