At Dycom, as an Associate Accountant, you’ll play an integral role in day‑to‑day corporate accounting operations; including but not limited to support with managing general ledger activities, reconciling accounts, month‑end close, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.

- Obtain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
- Adhere to GAAP compliance and SOX requirements.
- Support in the preparation & posting of journal entries with supporting documentation, including accruals and other necessary adjusting entries.
- Support with ensuring an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and compliance activities.
- Responsible for GL account reconciliation.
- Assistance on projects, including process improvements and internal control initiatives.
- Participate in the internal and external audit preparation.
- All other duties as assigned.
- To be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- 0 to 2 years of related experience and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting preferred.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with attention to detail, individually and collaboratively in a team, meet demanding deadlines in a fast‑paced environment, and prioritize workflow.
- Ability to work flexible hours and schedule as needed.
- Physical abilities & exposures:
Routinely engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods. - Occasionally travel domestically up to 10% to attend team meetings or training.
