Accountant, Bookkeeper​/ Accounting Clerk, Financial Reporting

Our client is a family office. They seek an Accountant to join their Palm Beach, FL office.

• Execute daily bookkeeping activities for multiple individuals, trusts, and legal entities, including transaction entries and reconciliations
• Initiate and process domestic and international wire transfers
• Track real estate expenditures and capital improvement projects
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment activity across entities
• Maintain accurate classifications of credit card expenses
• Generate reports for the tax department to support tax return preparation
• Support Payroll Manager with household payroll processing as needed
• Process payments related to real estate operations, private investments, household expenses, charitable donations, and gifts
• Maintain organized accounting files in accordance with internal policies
• Assist with ad hoc accounting tasks as required

• 3-8 years of accounting experience
• Family office, real estate, or private equity type environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Strong Excel skills
