The Criminal Justice Information Technician at the Florida Department of Corrections ensures accurate collection, processing, and dissemination of criminal justice information. Responsibilities include maintaining offender records, processing payments from probationers and parolees, managing data entry systems, preparing fiscal reports, and verifying documents for court submission. This is a non-telework position located in Region IV Community Corrections in the West Palm Beach area.
Keyqualifications
- One year of secretarial or clerical work experience
- High school diploma or equivalent, or college education (30 semester or 45 quarter hours)
- Ability to accurately record and verify financial and offender data
- Knowledge of document management and record-keeping procedures
- U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.
- Pass Level 2 background check as required by Florida Statutes
