Senior Business and Marketing Coordinator
Pay range: $70,000/yr - $85,000/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience. Discuss with recruiter.)
Power Wright is a full‑service engineering and project management firm that provides value‑added design solutions for electric utilities throughout the United States. Our services include power delivery (Transmission and Distribution lines) engineering, electric substation and protection & controls engineering, construction and construction/project management, drafting, permitting, system development, and more.
About the RoleThis position supports the President and, to a lesser degree, the HR Director and Controller. The successful candidate will work with senior level executives and will be responsible for a wide range of planning, organizing, and marketing tasks executed quickly and accurately. The role requires independent work, discretion, excellent communication, and the ability to maintain respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Business Coordinator:
- Prepare weekly and ad hoc reports using MS Excel, Smartsheet, and other applications.
- Display critical thinking and problem‑solving skills while being proactive on various issues.
- Manage the President’s calendar and other confidential tasks with high degree of discretion.
- Handle multiple small or special projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
- Manage company corporate licenses/certifications, office leases, and minor HR duties.
- Plan travel logistics for executives and staff (hotel, transportation, flights).
- Coordinate special events for staff and clients, infusing creativity into the process.
- Support new‑hire onboarding (orientation agendas, office procedure presentations).
- Handle confidential employee information.
- Process company‑approved credit‑card transactions in accordance with policy.
- Maintain client system access applications and compliance for all employees.
- Assist the President and Controller with client invoicing duties.
- Marketing Coordinator:
- Develop and implement marketing strategies.
- Coordinate marketing campaigns and events for industry conferences.
- Conduct market research and trend analysis.
- Manage social media accounts and online presence, including Linked In recruiting and job postings.
- Prepare marketing materials and presentations.
- Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field with 5‑10 years of related experience.
- Experience with event planning, travel, and logistics is required.
- Proven experience in business and marketing coordination.
- Proficiency with marketing software and tools.
- Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confident and respectful, able to lead and take charge while supporting the executive team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet is a plus.
- Very strong Excel skills.
- Strong sense of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
- Organized, able to prioritize, multi‑task, and follow up to achieve results.
- Adaptable and able to manage competing demands without fluster.
- Works independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, patient, and professional.
Supervise one in‑house recruiter and drafter.
TravelNo travel outside of Palm Beach County is required.
