American Sugar Refining (ASR) is the world’s largest refiner and marketer of cane sugar with an annual production capacity of more than 6 million tons of sugar, producing a full line of grocery, industrial, food service and specialty sweetener products.

The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for optimizing Service, Cost and Inventory for their categories. He/she will lead the development and execution of supply chain policies and strategy, provide support to Sales on business growth, capacity assessment, and opportunities for improved profitability, and support Operations with a long‑term view of capacity and inventory requirements. The individual plays a leadership role on behalf of the go‑to‑market supply chain team, driving alignment with cross‑functional partners such as Sales, Marketing, Distribution, Customer Service and Procurement.

• Own service, inventory and cost measures for your categories.
• Collaborate with other functions to optimize CTO for your categories.
• Provide 12‑month rolling supply plan for your categories.
• Address trade‑offs and elevate decision‑making as needed.
• Provide category input to the monthly melt plan.
• Collaborate with Sales, Demand and SBU on long‑term supply plans.

• Monitor production plan attainment to address gaps and trade‑offs with Operations.
• Optimize inventory positioning for business seasonality while minimizing obsolescence.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and conceive and execute resulting projects.
• Develop operating strategies and inventory policies for your categories.
• Support Sr. Planning Manager to develop warehouse strategy and needs.
• Collaborate with Logistics to attain replenishment plans and execution across distribution centers while optimizing freight cost.
• Communicate service risk and maintain strong coordination with Customer Service to support customer needs.
• Collaborate with the Demand Planning Manager on a mid/long‑term “game plan” for the area of the business under your responsibility.

• Minimum of 7+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the CPG industry.
• Experience leading a team and the S&OP process.
• Demonstrated leadership and change‑management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail; hands‑on experience with ERP/Demand Planning systems; proficiency with MS Office; experience with SAP a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related discipline.
