Estimator; West Palm , FL

An established and fast-growing construction management firm is building out its presence in the West Palm Beach area and is looking to add an experienced Estimator to its onsite team. This role will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates across a variety of project types and delivery methods, requiring a strong grasp of construction costs, building systems, and multi-trade coordination.

The Estimator will work closely with internal stakeholders and clients and will report directly to the Preconstruction Manager.

This is a full-time, in office role located in West Palm Beach.

• Maintain well-organized, clearly labeled digital project files
• Complete detailed quantity take-offs using estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff
• Review, analyze, and level subcontractor bids for assigned scopes
• Enter cost data and project information into historical cost databases
• Evaluate historical pricing, subcontract data, purchase orders, and productivity metrics to establish unit costs
• Review construction documents and specifications, attend pre-bid and design meetings, and assess scope, risks, and execution strategy
• Develop estimates from conceptual phases through final construction documents, including variance analysis and cost tracking

• Assist with procurement activities, bid leveling, and subcontractor selection
• Support the preparation and issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders
• Help manage purchasing schedules to ensure timely execution
• Incorporate safety considerations into preconstruction planning and estimating efforts

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience
• 5+ years of experience in estimating, construction engineering, or cost control
• Strong understanding of industry standards, estimating methodologies, and best practices
