Responsibilities
Related Ross is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join their team. The Superintendent is responsible for the direct supervision, coordination, and execution of all on‑site construction activities for large‑scale commercial and interior fit‑out projects. This role serves as the primary liaison between the company, subcontractors, and building staff, ensuring that work is performed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards, while adhering to schedule and budget requirements.
Project Supervision and Coordination- Provide day‑to‑day onsite field supervision of construction activities, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Review all scopes of work, schedules, and budgets developed by the Preconstruction Team and Project Manager; identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and cost savings.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, including Two‑Week Look Aheads and Manpower Reports.
- Lead jobsite meetings with foremen, subcontractors, and project teams to coordinate progress and resolve issues.
- Oversee deliveries, installations, and site logistics to ensure safety, efficiency, and minimal disruption.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety on‑site; enforce company safety policies and remedy unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable regulations; maintain safety and accident logs.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of work performed, maintaining benchmarks, levels, and layouts where necessary.
- Represent the company in interactions with inspectors, engineers, architects, clients, and governmental authorities to ensure timely approvals and adherence to project requirements.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily field reports, RFIs, submittals, work orders, and progress photos.
- Coordinate the permitting process with expeditors and other authorities.
- Manage project budget by monitoring material orders, expenses, and delivery approvals.
- Support punch‑list preparation, closeout documentation, and development of Owner’s Maintenance Manuals, including warranties, valve charts, and access panel schedules.
- 5–10 years of construction supervision experience, including large‑scale commercial interiors, retail, and institutional projects with high‑level finishes and complex systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
- Proficient with Procore, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software.
- Knowledge of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
- Familiarity with safety standards (OSHA 30).
- Mature professional with excellent judgment and communication skills (written and verbal).
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate multiple trades.

- Keen attention to detail, time management, and problem‑solving abilities.
