Construction Manager/ Foreman, Site Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient and successful delivery of construction projects from mobilisation through to completion. The successful candidate will provide strong site leadership, coordinate all field activities and ensure work is completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, budgets and quality standards. This role will suit a practical and organised construction professional who can build effective relationships while maintaining a clear focus on safety, productivity and project outcomes.
Key responsibilities include supervising subcontractors, trades and site personnel; coordinating daily construction activities; reviewing drawings, specifications and work packages; monitoring progress against programme milestones; and identifying and resolving site issues before they affect delivery. You will lead regular site meetings, coordinate inspections, maintain accurate records and support the preparation of progress reports, forecasts and cost information. The Project Superintendent will also work closely with project managers, consultants, suppliers and client representatives to manage interfaces, clarify requirements and ensure timely decision-making.
A strong commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures is essential, including conducting toolbox talks, monitoring compliance and taking immediate action where unsafe practices are identified.
Applicants should have substantial experience supervising construction projects, ideally across commercial, industrial, civil or infrastructure environments. A relevant trade qualification, diploma or degree in construction management, engineering or a related discipline is desirable. You will need sound knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, quality control and relevant legislation, together with the ability to interpret technical documentation and use project scheduling or reporting systems.
Strong communication, leadership, planning and problem-solving skills are required, as is the flexibility to work on active project sites and manage changing priorities. This is an opportunity to take ownership of site delivery and contribute to high-quality projects completed safely, efficiently and professionally.
