Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in multifamily construction to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of accurately estimating construction costs for multifamily projects, as well as a thorough understanding of the construction process. This is a full-time, permanent position with opportunities for growth within the company.

• - Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates
• - Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project scope
• - Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing
• - Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and budgets for each project phase
• - Identify potential cost-saving measures and value engineering opportunities
• - Maintain cost database and update pricing information as needed
• - Monitor project progress and provide cost updates to project team
  - Participate in bid meetings and negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers
• - Review and negotiate change orders and manage cost impacts
• - Keep abreast of industry trends and changes in construction costs
• - Assist in developing and implementing cost control procedures
• - Communicate effectively with project team and clients regarding cost estimates and budgets

• - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• - Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Estimator in multifamily construction
• - Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods
• - Proficient in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
• - Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• - Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• - Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• - Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
• - Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed
