Customer Service Rep

Responsibilities- Deliver a stress‑free, welcoming experience for each customer.
- Receive payment for parking services, run the cash register, and provide accurate change.
- Maintain the security of all collected cash and cash registers.
- Issue receipts or tickets for each transaction and compute the amounts due.
- Train and validate customers on parking options and prices.
- Assist customers with directions and other inquiries.
- Handle any lost ticket forms when the original ticket cannot be located.
- Resolve customer complaints quickly and refer to a supervisor when necessary.
- Answer telephone calls in a prompt, courteous manner.
- Keep the booth clean and maintain required supplies and inventory.
- Reconcile daily revenue with the starting cash bank.
- Prepare shift reports detailing the number of cars in and out, revenue collected, and any other duty-related data.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
- Education/
Experience:
Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training. - Availability: Ability to work varying shift requirements, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends if needed.
- License: A valid state‑issued driver's license is required only if driving a company vehicle is part of the role.
- Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units, and to make change accurately. - Language
Skills:
Ability to read, write, and communicate simple instructions in one‑on‑one and small group settings. - Reasoning Ability: Use common sense to follow written or oral instructions in standardized situations.
- Other
Skills:
Proficiency with a clock, calculator, or credit card machine; pleasant, mannerly telephone demeanor; effective problem‑solving with customers. - Physical Demands: Regular sitting, handling small objects, occasional walking; need close vision.
$15.68 per hour
