Base pay range
$70,000.00/yr - $90,000.00/yr
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Project Architect to lead and manage architectural projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering superior drawings and ensuring that each project aligns with client objectives, timelines, and budgets. This role is ideal for a skilled architect who thrives in producing excellent drawings in Revit possesses a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Review and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- Ensure that all work complies with local building codes, regulations, and zoning laws.
- Oversee site visits, inspections, and construction administration to maintain quality control.
- Lead and support architectural drawing development from initial concept through final construction documents. Capitalizing on Revit skills and team drawing coordination.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver accurate and thorough construction documents.
- Maintain clear communication between all parties involved in the project, acting as the primary liaison. Strong written communication is essential to project coordination.
- Develop creative design solutions that align with the client’s vision, function, and aesthetic goals.
- Support the design team in generating architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed construction documents.
- Present design ideas and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration between architects, engineers, and other design professionals.
- Mentor junior architects and staff, providing guidance on technical and design issues.
- Promote sustainable design practices and innovative solutions within each project.
- Incorporate new technologies and techniques that enhance both the function and aesthetic of projects.
- Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program. - Licensing:
Not required but the pursuit of licensing is a plus. - Experience:
5+ years of experience delivering architectural drawings, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of project types in the commercial sector.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- A keen eye for design, detail, and craftsmanship.
- Familiarity with building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
